1/2 Prince Spoiler Thread
Spoilers, yes indeed. All from me~ To get these, I first Google Translated the Chinese novel chapter so it's a bunch of English gibberish that forms vaguely recognizable ideas. Next, I take my other translator, Perapera-kun, and translate the meaning of the individual characters. I often use Babelfish, Babylon, and other translators if I can't figure out the other translations. I piece the words together to form sentences, those to form paragraphs, and try to make them grammatically correct and all. And I make them as accurate as possible. Note that I've only been taught Chinese for one year, and there may very well be errors in these translation. Enjoy at your own peril.
V8C1: Feng Lan meets up with the others in real life.
V8C2: Gui recognizes Prince in a crowd of lookalikes, and Prince asks how he knew.
This is the main stuff that happens in the end. It's pretty much an entire chapter long, and I'm not gonna translate that, so I'll just sum it up.
Sequel volume: Introduction of a son.
Sequel volume: Introduction of a daughter.
Sequel volume: Gui at Feng Lan's graduation (narrated by Wicked).
Sequel volume: Occurs shortly after the previous spoiler (narrated by Wicked):
If you have any questions, feel free to ask. I don't really know much about the latest manhua events by the way (I only skimmed that part in the novel), so asking me might not get any answers.
V8C1: Feng Lan meets up with the others in real life.
- Spoiler:
- Fairsky, eyes filled with tears, rushed over to me. She seized my shoulders and shook them while yelling, "Prince, let's hurry and rescue Sunshine."
"Stop shaking me, my goggles are about to come off." A sense of dizziness came over me. My god, are all women in love this powerful? Before I could say a word, my goggles kissed the ground with a clack.
"Ah, my goggles!" I lamented. These are Mom's - if anything happens to her treasured goggles, she'll definitely chop me into pieces.
"Nevermind your goggles, my dear Sunshine..." Fairsky said, her voice getting smaller and smaller, until finally she stood gaping at me.
"How are you, Fairsky?" I reached out and shook her hand, but Fairsky still stared with her mouth open...
Suddenly, she moved! With matchless speed, she quickly stripped off the light armor I had just put on, and then in an instant, my lovely wind-resistant jacket was ripped off...If I hadn't realized this weird situation and held tight to my last piece of clothing, she would've ripped off even my little T-shirt. With wide eyes, I exclaimed: "Fairsky, even if Sunshine's not here, you should keep your morals, right? Everyone's watching!"
Fairsky just stared straight at my chest, gaping...This is indeed bad, things are disastrous if Sunshine is gone; it actually causes Fairsky to change so much that her sexual orientation is affected?
"Y-you...you're a girl?" Fairsky stuttered and then finally roared.
I was stunned. How did everyone...still not discover? Is it possible? Do I look that much like a guy? My chest is on the small side, but it's nice in its own way, okay?
"Stupid Sis, can't you hurry and explain to everyone?" Yang Ming anxiously gazed at all the dumbstruck people, impatiently reminding me.
"Eh?" I turned to look at Yang Ming blankly. Explain what?
"Feng Lan, huh, as I thought..." Wolf-dàgē scratched his face with a wry smile and a knowing look.
"Wolf? She really is Prince? But...she's a girl." Yu Lian-dàsǎo also looked at me incredulously. She seemed to think for a while and said nothing else, but she had an expression of realization.
"Your Royal Highness, Gui has missed you." A figure swooped towards me with arms outstretched, at an unbelievably parallel position to the ground, along with that extremely loathsome title of Your Royal Highness Prince...
"Gui, I told you a hundred times, do not call me Your Highness!" I aimed a flying kick to send Gui down, then stomp stomp stomp!
"She really is Prince!" the others shouted in unison.
"Prince..." As usual, Gui clung to my legs, but unusually, the aggrieved look of his longing eyes wasn't there; he had buried his face in my leg and wouldn't look up.
"Gui?" I asked, finding it strange.
Gui slowly raised his head, eyes deep and complex, looking nothing like his familiar smiling self. He met my eyes with a deep and direct gaze, and gently said, "Feng Lan, you...skipped class?"
"Uh...Professor Ming Gui Wen, you didn't go to class?" I answered calmly.
Gui smiled wryly and shook his head, staggering, saying to himself, "So the real life you is by my side, and the real life me sees you every day, in reality..."
Gui stood up and stretched out his arms to hug me, but even before I gave him warning punches, he pulled back, taking a deep breath and saying, "No, no, I'm your teacher."
I burst out laughing at this unexpected situation. Gui can't hug me because he's a teacher? How fun! I couldn't help but test his endurance, intentionally moving mere centimeters from his eyes and asking, "Oh, do you really not want to hug me?"
Gui actually blushed? And even going so far as not looking straight at me!
V8C2: Gui recognizes Prince in a crowd of lookalikes, and Prince asks how he knew.
- Spoiler:
- Gui stopped, slowly turned around and looked at me, eyes still as gentle as always. "I couldn't mistake you - your light footsteps, your blank face every time you're lost in thought, and your favorite action of clenching your fist with a stubborn expression.
"And also, when you're confused, you tilt your head to one side." Gui couldn't help but chuckle, and said, "I can tell that you are Prince."
There was suddenly a warm feeling in my heart, but I still couldn't help but ask, "But you didn't realize that Feng Lan is me."
Gui's eyes suddenly became hazy, and as if answering not me, but himself, he mumbled, "How is it possible to not have realized? Yet, I didn't recognize you...Perhaps I had realized it since long ago, but I had promised you that I would never guess your true identity. I attached so much importance to that promise, perhaps that...I just cast my eyes away in order to not see that it was you."
I hesitated. "Gui...What do you mean? I don't understand."
Hearing my words, Gui smiled wryly, and his shoulders slumped. Vexed, he said, "I don't know what I mean."
Seeing Gui's dispirited appearance, I scratched my face and couldn't help but say, "Never mind, y-you recognized me, and I was happy, uh..." Light returned to Gui's eyes, and I couldn't keep myself from blushing, forgetting what I wanted to say.
The atmosphere suddenly became awkward, and we walked for a while in silence. Gui unexpectedly said, "Prince, no matter what, I...still love you."
Hearing this, I was shocked to the extreme. Is Gui really so nice? "You're not angry? I-I deceived you, and even caused people to think you were gay..." My voice got softer and softer, feeling that Gui should be very angry now.
Gui was silent, then spoke again, "I was a little angry, but I didn't dare get angry."
I blinked. Today, Gui seems to be very fond of saying things people don't understand?
"I was angry that you deceived me, angry that I didn't know, yet that Wicked knew..." At this point, Gui spoke in a distant voice, "But I didn't dare get angry, deeply afraid that you would become unhappy, afraid you would ignore me, afraid...I would be giving up the chance of you loving me."
"Gui!" I suddenly grabbed him, and mustered the courage to apologize. "This really is my fault, don't cover for me, let me take the blame."
Gui turned to face me. He opened his mouth to speak more, but not knowing where to begin, he again appeared to be struggling...finally, his shoulders slumped, and he said faintly, "I do not blame you for deceiving me. Let's go meet with the others."
Is Gui not saying what he wants to? Feeling something from deep in my heart, I once again grabbed Gui, forcing him back. His expression looked very surprised.
"What, Prince?" Gui asked, somewhat hesitant.
"What do you want to say? Tell me." I stubbornly refused to let go of Gui.
Gui, with what seemed like calm determination, said, "I don't want to say anything; only do."
"Just what do you want..." My words disappeared in Gui's mouth...
I looked at the handsome face of Gui staring into my eyes, his lips closed tightly on mine...A kiss wasn't new to me, yet, yet merely the unyielding expression of the once again serious Gui made me truly blush. I pushed him away, a little embarrassed. "Gui, you..."
But Gui once again brought us into a kiss, this time actually, actually putting his tongue in my mouth. I was somewhat flustered and tried to push Gui away, but his hand was firm and strongly held my head in place... Even worse, I just created a role that didn't have power as a strong point; I couldn't push Gui away.
Although it wasn't my first time kissing, it was the first time I understood, understood the feeling of kissing...
Though Gui's hand forced my head in place, not allowing me to escape, his kiss was very gentle, his tongue lightly in my mouth...I don't know what the word is, but just a very soft and tender feeling, almost as if I was drunk, drunk on the enchanting gentleness. Slowly, Gui even synced with the feeling, gently stroking my hair as well.
Staring at Gui's closed eyes and drunk and gentle expression, I subconsciously closed my eyes, feeling Gui's complete gentleness; the feeling from my mouth, the feeling from my hair, the feeling from my waist in Gui's hand, bringing my body closer towards his.
This is the main stuff that happens in the end. It's pretty much an entire chapter long, and I'm not gonna translate that, so I'll just sum it up.
- Spoiler:
- Feng Lan and Gui get married. Yang Ming and Shui Han (Lolidragon) start dating. Yang Ming wants to get married but Shui Han doesn't, so Yang Ming pokes some holes in a condom, and Feng Lan gets "a sister-in-law in three months and a nephew in seven". Seeing her nephew, Feng Lan also wants a baby, but she's still afraid of pain. Then she sees an article in the newspaper about a successful male pregnancy. She shows it to Gui, who willingly agrees to it.
Artificial bodies are built for Kenshin and the other "NPCs" so they could come to the real world. Sunshine goes to see the world with Fairsky and Caelus goes to marry Doll. Arctic Fox wants Kenshin to live with him, but Kenshin refuses and lives with Feng Lan and Gui instead. Kenshin gets bored, so he takes up cleaning the house, and becomes ridiculously diligent at it. Arctic Fox visits regularly for "tea", to see and fight Kenshin.
Tian Lang (Wolf) and Yu Lian get married and continue working their respective jobs. Zui and Ice Phoenix get married. Fan stops by their wedding, and Phoenix takes her ten-centimeter-long high heels and stomps down on his XX.
Feng Lan's daughter is called Xiao Xiao Lan. She calls Feng Lan "daddy" and Gui "mommy" since her teacher told her that the one who gives birth is the mommy. Ling Bin (Wicked) is something of a guardian towards Xiao Xiao Lan, being as protective as he is. Xiao Xiao Lan falls in love with Ling Bin (something he's very much against), and decides to chase him to the ends of the earth til he marries her (it takes over eight years). Feng Lan is initially surprised, but is pretty much fine with it, since humans in that era live to 200 years, so an age difference of 30 isn't much compared.
Sequel volume: Introduction of a son.
- Spoiler:
- My name is Feng Long Ming, sixteen years old. You may think my name is good - a dragon rising to fame in the land under the heavens - but I'm very sorry, I must shatter your delusions. The reason I'm called Feng Long Ming is that my dad is called Feng Yang Ming, and my mom is called Long Shui Han. Considering my parents' personalities, they probably wrote the six characters of their names on paper, then took two and assembled a name out of them...Thank god! I wasn't named Feng Long or Shui Long, or even worse, if they had picked out "Feng Shui", I really don't know whether or not I'd have to go visit a feng shui teacher and become a master...
- "Long Ming" = "famed dragon"
- "rising to fame in the land under the heavens" = "becoming world famous"
- "Feng Long" = "wind dragon"
- "Shui Long" = "water dragon"
- feng shui = the ancient Chinese art of placement. The goal of feng shui is to achieve harmony, comfort, and balance, first in ones environment and then in one's life.
Sequel volume: Introduction of a daughter.
- Spoiler:
- I'm Min Lan Lan, and everyone calls me Xiao Xiao Lan. This is because my mom is called Feng Lan, and she's also called Xiao Lan. And since I'm her daughter, I automatically become Xiao Xiao Lan!
When I think about it, I can't help but shake my head. Leaving aside my mom's lack of naming skills, my dad, Min Gui Wen, who's known for having an IQ of 200, unexpectedly has questionable naming skills as well. Unfortunately, I'm fifteen years old this year and still called Xiao Xiao Lan. So there are parts of me that are small, huh? Whatever, mine are bigger than my mom's - she's an A cup!
- "xiao" = "little"
Sequel volume: Gui at Feng Lan's graduation (narrated by Wicked).
- Spoiler:
- At the graduation ceremony, everything was normal, the principal's speech, words to the graduates, the students' farewells, until Professor Min Gui Wen appeared wearing those strange clothes. Everything changed - the whole school was in an uproar, and even the teachers' faces were red.
The clothes were familiar to me; it was Gui's bard outfit - even the guqin and earrings were exactly the same. The overall look made the originally serious Professor Min Gui Wen seem delicate and charming. He gazed at the crowd and walked to Xiao Lan. The latter, nearly stunned, asked, "Gui? Do you think this is a costume party?"
Gui coughed twice, put down his guqin, and took out a pink heart-shaped box. He opened the box and, on one knee, said in a voice full of love: "My dearest Royal Highness Xiao Lan, you're finally graduating, and I will no longer be your teacher. I would like to ask you to call me by another name now."
"What name?" Xiao Lan has always been slow, but even she could clearly understand Gui's intention, and her blush couldn't be redder.
Gui gently picked up the silver ring. On it was a tulip, its petals inlaid with diamonds - no doubt, Gui also knew that tulips were Xiao Lan's favorite.
"Would you call me husband, and let me call you my dear wife?" Gui said warmly.
Sequel volume: Occurs shortly after the previous spoiler (narrated by Wicked):
- Spoiler:
- I went to Xiao Lan's wedding because no matter what, I could not miss seeing her in a wedding dress, even if the man by her side wasn't me.
The wedding was very grand, surrounded by Xiao Lan's favorite tulips of every color. I gave pleasant nods to the people I knew - Wolf-gē, Yu Lian, Lolidragon, and even the princess Doll had all come wearing informal clothes, as did Nan Gong Zui, also known as Jian Wu Zui - but the Dark Emperor team, my teammates, didn't have the heart to meet my gaze.
Xiao Lan was already in her wedding dress and standing before the priest, waiting for Gui. A white veil covered her face, but I was sure that if Xiao Lan wore a wedding dress, she would definitely be the most beautiful bride.
"Strange, was Prince always so tall?" Yu Lian asked, puzzled.
"It's because of high heels, right? It's not strange for a bride to wear high heels," Li Tian Lang said matter-of-factly.
"Doll remembers, shouldn't it be the groom who stands before the priest when waiting for the bride?" Doll asked while biting her finger, confused.
"Is Gui late?" Nan Gong Zui wondered.
"Impossible!" everyone...even I, said in unison.
"He's marrying Prince; even if he got hit by a gravel truck and died on the way, his soul would float here on time," Lolidragon said seriously.
I had to agree with Lolidragon's words; Gui really was like that.
The doors to the church were finally opened, ending our speculation. Someone wearing a white tuxedo came in and caught sight of me. Immediately looking excited, this person walked over and said, "I knew Zhuo-gēge wouldn't miss my wedding."
"Xia-Xiao Lan, why are wearing that?" Forgetting my manners, my mouth hung wide open, but everyone present was open-mouthed as well, so I wouldn't be considered quite as rude.
Yes, Xiao Lan was not only wearing a white tuxedo, but also had her hair tied up in a ponytail, looking very handsome, very fitting...But a bride should be wearing a bride's wedding dress!
"Oh, this?" Xiao Lan pulled on a corner of her necktie. "Looks good, right? I was thinking that Gui looked much better in a wedding dress than I did, so I asked him if he would swap with me."
Everyone's jaws dropped even further, and all heads turned in the direction of the person in the wedding dress.
Xiao Lan strode towards the bride...no, the groom, and with a small laugh and a big grin, she said, "Priest, hurry and read us the vows! I can't wait to eat at the wedding reception - it's a five-star hotel buffet!"
Seeing Gui as Feng Lan lifted his veil, my heart was conflicted. If Xiao Lan asked me to swap clothes, would I agree? I would...likely, if only to take Xiao Lan as my wife, I'd be willing to wear a wedding dress.
Though, when Gui came to speak to me while wearing that wedding dress with a collar that dropped down to his chest, I couldn't help but show some respect.
“Thank you for coming to the wedding.” Gui said somewhat reluctantly, “Xiao Lan was very happy that you came.”
“Don’t worry, as soon as I graduate, I’ll move far away from your home,“ I said coldly.
Gui showed a struggling expression, then finally drooped his head and said, “Don’t go; I need your help. Xiao Lan wants to let Kenshin and the others come to the real world. Especially Sunshine – Fairsky misses him already.”
“You want to make an artificial body?” I asked, surprised.
Gui nodded. “Lolidragon and Doll will be responsible for all expenses."
I was a little hesitant. If this happened, I would have to continually see Xiao Lan…
“Xiao Lan would be very happy if you helped,” Gui said reluctantly.
Hearing these words, I unwittingly nodded.
When Sunshine, Kenshin and Caelus had all come into the real world, I considered whether or not to go out looking for work. Lolidragon invited me to come to her company, but I didn't want to stay close to Xiao Lan's house. Therefore, I looked for work overseas and planned to go give Xiao Lan a final farewell.
Xiao Lan opened the door and happily said, "Zhuo-gēge, good to see you, I just wanted to talk to you; Gui and decided to have a child."
"Oh?" I couldn't help but look towards Xiao Lan's belly, envious of the child's father.
Xiao Lan followed my gaze, but she quickly denied, "Not here."
She pulled my hand, drawing me inside.
"There," Xiao Lan gestured to the sofa, on which sat Gui, wearing a maternity dress, with quite a belly, and knitting.
I once again forgot my manners and my mouth dropped wide open. Gui noticed me and immediately jumped up, shouting, "Hey! Shameless guy, don't you dare hold my wife's hand."
After jumping up, the knitting yarn wrapped around him, and he was about to fall flat on the ground. I immediately strode forward and, at the crucial moment, managed to catch Gui. The child in his belly didn’t fall, but instead, my heart had jumped out of my chest.
“How thrilling.” Xiao Lan stared from the side, then turned and left as if it was nothing, saying, “I’ll go get something for you to eat - you’re not allowed to fight.”
Gui and I sat on the sofa. Gui was knitting and fuming, and I couldn’t help but ask, “Are you really pregnant?”
“Nonsense!” Gui snapped, “You think I wear maternity dresses as a hobby?”
“Why?” I asked, my mind half thinking, Xiao Lan is afraid of pain…
“It can’t be helped, Xiao Lan is so afraid of pain. Actually, this is good; to ask me to listen to Xiao Lan’s cries as she suffers through childbirth, I’d rather give birth myself. This way, my mind is much more at ease.”
I was almost speechless. This man loved Xiao Lan more than I could even imagine. I couldn’t help thinking, If it was me, would I be willing to take the place of Xiao Lan, and try to experience ten months of pregnancy? I…couldn’t.
“I heard you declined Lolidragon’s invitation to her company?” Gui asked.
“Yeah, I intend to go overseas.” I finally woke from my stupor. Maybe Xiao Lan would be happier with Gui than with me.
“What! Why?” Xiao Lan was holding a pot of soup, and on hearing my words, she ran over to me, momentarily forgetting the soup in her hands. She staggered, and the pot of soup immediately started falling towards Gui on the sofa.
Almost on reflex, I threw myself onto Gui in order to keep his belly from getting scalded. Fortunately, my clothing that day was a full suit, with very thick fabric…
“Zhuo-gege, are you really leaving?” Xiao Lan asked worriedly.
I was lying a few centimeters from Gui’s belly, not daring to get any closer, and was once again aware of the hot boiling feeling on my back. With a pale face, I shuddered and said, “No, I won’t go overseas, I’ll live with you.”
If I didn’t move in here, I was afraid Xiao Lan’s child wouldn’t be born smoothly.
“Finally, I don’t have to watch Gui all day. I’m going to clean.” Kenshin coldy walked through the hallway, a vacuum cleaner in hand.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask. I don't really know much about the latest manhua events by the way (I only skimmed that part in the novel), so asking me might not get any answers.

..Funny.
I liked the way HP will end, although seems a little cliche. Except for Kenshin, that one was funny and cute lol. Lolidragon end was also so like her ... Maybe a few people will think it was boring but it was a "shoujo" manga after all wasn't?

There's something called artificial pregnancy for men (according to the novel)....So women doesn't need to be the only one to be able to get pregnant! 3 cheers for 1/2 Prince!

Caesarean section, of course. .-. It freaks out Feng Lan, who starts panicking last minute about how she guts fish by cutting the belly, and she doesn't want Gui to die because his belly is going to be cut open...She gets dragged out of the room to wait outside because she's fretting too much. XD

- Spoiler:
Feng Lan and Gui get married.
- Spoiler:
My name is Feng Long Ming, sixteen years old.
- Spoiler:
I'm Min Lan Lan, and everyone calls me Xiao Xiao Lan.
- Spoiler:
At the graduation ceremony, everything was normal, the principal's speech, words to the graduates, the students' farewells, until Professor Min Gui Wen appeared wearing those strange clothes.
- Spoiler:
I went to Xiao Lan's wedding because no matter what, I could not miss seeing her in a wedding dress, even if the man by her side wasn't me.

This manga/manhwa/novel/etc.... inspired me to learn Chinese! Sadly it might take ten years though. Thank you very much for the spoilers. I look forward to reading it myself, in ten years.

Lol Chinese is complicated especially reading and writing since you actually have to memorize the words and cannot sound out the words like in english. I've been learning Chinese for a few yrs now. And I still suck lol I can only speak while my reading and writing skills suck. Good LuckThis manga/manhwa/novel/etc.... inspired me to learn Chinese! Sadly it might take ten years though. That's because you're being spoilt. ^^ Normally, manga artists in Japan have to work like hell to get a 20-page-or-so chapter out every week because the readers expect them to for some reason. 1/2 Prince is from Taiwan, where I assume things aren't as competitively crowded, and the manhua artist is able to focus more on quality and double the pages of other manga, in case you haven't noticed.
As an exercise, try drawing a 20 page manga of good quality in one week and see how you do.

Re: 1/2 Prince Spoiler Thread
Yeah but this man release manga in his language right? Why he need 6 months to write 42 pages? Other manga with 42 pages doesn't make more than a month to release their mangas! So I want to know... he don't have competition? I don't think so because is a good manga with good story so he realy have competition. Or he make it in 1 month and the translators is too slow

Re: 1/2 Prince Spoiler Thread
I'm afraid you're believing your own exaggerations. Please check the release dates - 1/2 Prince chapters are always released about two months apart. As OSS has mentioned everywhere, from the main site to pages in the manhua itself, 1/2 Prince is bimonthly - released every two months. The reason is that it's in a magazine that's released every two months. He is given two months to make 42 pages. Please remember that.BLoodRaven wrote:Yeah but this man release manga in his language right? Why he need 6 months to write 42 pages? Again, you are talking about Japan. Japan works their manga artists to near death because there are so many manga artists in Japan, and there are so many wanting to get published that they'll all work that hard.
Taiwan does not have as many manhua artists as Japan does. Thus, the manhua magazines do not have as much competition and don't have to make their manhua artists release everything weekly. Furthermore, the manhua artist of 1/2 Prince has a teaching job (or did last time I checked), plus he has to go to conventions to promote the manhua, plus he has a life. So I again present an exercise: draw 42 pages of good quality manga in two months starting now and see how that goes for you.
The manhua artist is good, but that has absolutely nothing to do with competition, so I can't see what point you're making. Also, I recommend not telling the cleaners that they're slow to their faces, though you just did.
To summarize, you are spoilt. 20 pages of manga don't magically appear effortlessly, so don't judge manga by saying they're slow if they can't dish out 20 pages a week. 40 pages every two months is hard as well. What you're reading is the result of several people's hard work and insomnia. Reading manga online is a privilege you're not even supposed to have legally, so please don't act like you have the right to complain that it's slow.

What type?
Hi, so like the other person, I've decided to learn Chinese!
Okay so I'm really young now, which means I have aaages to learn Chinese. So then, when I'm older, I can join here and help you guys.
And this is where my question comes in:
Is the Chinese that the authors of the manga/novels in this site Mandarin or Cantonese? I was thinking that it was probably Mandarin, but hey, you never know.
And also, which mangas/novels are in Korean? Because I already know a bit of that and it would be helpful to know (say, if you scanlated/translated more Korean mangas/novels than Chinese) whether I should continue with learning Korean or not.
Then again, I probably wont decide my language education just because of this site, but the little weight to tip the scales would be helpful.

The Legendary Moonlight Sculptor and Cheese in the Trap are the only two Korean projects.
Good luck in your studies~
