Weed public exposure (spoilers warning)

Hello this is my first time posting here. Since I read from machine translation, I have difficulties in keeping track of things so I make some pointers while reading. I thought I will share it here
Below is how general player, public, perceive Weed. It develop over time and explain his popularity. It will be useful because we usually see him from 1st person perspective, from narrator perspective, from his close friend perspective etc, so we know how he REALLY is. But the general player and NPC have different perspective.
1. Weed of “The Continent of Magic”
- Reach the highest level
- All stats are maximum
- Possess various godly equipment
- Slain the bosses and sweep the deadliest dungeon alone
- Make a legend of longest hunting time – 204 hours – he stopped because his mouse was broken
- Kill Ray Bard and his guild, the best guild at that time
- The avatar was sold for 3.09 billion won
From here, weed have 2 personas when playing Royal Road. The sculptor and the adventurer, and people dont know that they are the same person

2. Weed the sculptor
- Spoiler:
- a. First known in Serabourg city, Rosenheim kingdom, selling various animal statue. His popularity rise when a customer request him to make a bouquet of flower from wood.
b. He make a new statue of Goddess Freya in Baran Village. The statue is famous because of its beauty. The NPC villagers also thankful because they have been saved from lizardman lair.
c. Received a quest from the king of Rosenheim Kingdom with the difficulty rank B, to build a royal tomb. It is the first known rank B quest and King’s Quest in the continent. He employ many users and build a pyramid and a sphinx statue that become famous later. People also think he is generous because he only charge 1G to share the quest.
d. Weed is the first one who reveal that sculptor job can be useful. People was surprised to see the sphinx statue has various effect that assist in combat.
e. Cold Rose Guild goes in northern expedition bringing 1650 users. They face freezing climate and various hardships along the way, and finally arrive in the Valley of Death. But weed the sculptor already there with Seoyun and Ron Alves, planting trees and flowers. The artisans remark of how the statue “warm lovers” is very beautiful, and the guild leader remark how the statue is very effective in making the surrounding warm.
f. Adventurers near Mora Village discover a lot of statue, some of them masterpieces, with each one having different effect for combat. And a light tower that shine in moonlight, giving a light show in the night. Soon people flocked to Mora Village and it became famous. Soon people talk about how sculptor weed carve those statue and light tower, and how he have raised blacksmith and tailoring skill. Soon Weed become famous as a true artist. But people dismissed the rumor that weed the sculptor is the same as weed the adventurer who recently kill the undead dragon.
g. People then witness Mora Village Elder addressing Weed as “My Lord” and asking for gold investment. Then everyone realize Weed the sculptor is the Count of Mora! Weed invest 260.000 Gold, with majority allocated for commercial development.
h. After he return to Mora (after land of vampire), he build the giant statue of Freya (160m). Recruiting many users as free labor (and by manipulating information), he shares the quest for the price of 10 gold. He also deceives the labor into making defensive canal around town, as a part of the statue. Advertisement by various merchant goes to the things the goddess wear.
i. At this time Weed invest and build a lot of building in Mora. Mora City become a popular place for beginners.
j. Restore water statue in dwarf kingdom.
k. Join Travellers of wilderness guild
After this point, in volume 15, people know that the sculptor and adventurer is the same
3. Weed the adventurer
- Spoiler:
- a. Return Freya’s Holy chalice to the temple of Freya
b. Wipe out vampire from Mora Village in the north. People notice that the 3-diamond rating user “weed from COM” have started selling Royal Road items. Piecing together information from NPC and the vampire loot that he sell, people begin to talk about how weed from COM have start playing royal road and wipe out one whole vampire clan.
c. Return Freya’s Crown to the temple of Freya. At this point NPC start gossiping about weed who wipe out vampire and return Freya’s treasure.
d. One day, a newbie posted unedited video with 19 hours duration. One person with nothing better to do start watching it and spread the rumors of how awesome it was. The movie show a user as an orc named Kari, leading 400.000 orcs in a siege against dark elves castle. An intense large scale battle like in fantasy film. But then human soldiers and priest join the battle to enter the deepest part, the underground temple. They meet some necromancers who abruptly surrender. Contrary to everyone expectation, the orc Kari spare them, and then another quest opened. Rank A quest to defeat Lich Shire and Corps of the Immortal, and if it succeeds, job necromancer will be unlocked. People raise a fuss because user cannot choose orc race, but this user can transform into orc and did orc quest. The location is also unseen before. But after weed complete Freya’s Quest in the Plain of Despair by reporting to the archbishop, the NPC Paladin in Freya’s Temple start talking about how weed subdue orc and dark elves and necromancer in the Plains of Despair. People easily connect the video and the quest and weed’s fame spread more.
e. Experts and high level user commented that the quest to fight Corps of the Immortal is impossible. Especially since none from top 50 guild receive any request for assistance. The Red Mercenary Guild boast themselves by saying that they will march to block the undead army because the quest will surely fail. But soon after weed defeat Shire army, the villager’s NPC begin talking to user about weed’s victory to user. This news then was broadcasted and Red Mercenary Guild apparently must came home because the enemy is no more.
f. Soon, KMC Media broadcast the exclusive video of the fight with Corps of the Immortal. Weed have 10 wyven, a death knight, a vampire lord as his subordinates. They also remark how weed use 2 million silver arrows, expensive budget, meaning he is rich!
g. The Northern Expedition after arriving in the Valley of Death, confront Embinyu Church priest and legion of undead, and an Undead Dragon. Betrayed by comrades and facing a dragon, the remnants soon will be wiped out. Suddenly several clothed wyvern came and attacking monsters, and another undead army rise and fight the enemy undead army. Soon the expedition realize it was weed coming. Death Knight and Vampire Lord also came and fight. And then weed summon boss-level monster to fight. But people confused because weed appear as a skeleton soldier! And then more bizzare was when weed jump to the battle and having melee combat, when usually wizard/necromancer have weak physical attack. But when the dragon life remain 20%, it escape to the sky. When the users and spectator lost hope, Weed call an ice dragon to attack the undead dragon, and riding wyvern he dealt finishing blow by repeatedly strike the same spot. Because of the feat of hitting the same spot of a dragon in an aerial battle, his undead army, and his capability of commanding battle, people start calling him “The God of War”
h. KMC Media brodcast a new program, “Weed”. Hiding his identity and the true nature of the quest, the program show edited video of his adventures. The first was to the land of vampires, but it has unexpectedly low rating because people are not interested in somewhere they can’t reach.
i. Weed then sold cyclops helmet, and several items from 2 unknown kingdom. Soon people discover those kingdom exist hundreds of years ago. They are curious of how Weed obtain those items.
j. After long episodes with low rating, KMC Media surprise viewers with a scene of Skeleton Knight Weed rescuing a princess on a horseback, cutting across battlefield where Elves, human, and barbarian fighting. The Palrangka Battle, where weed get items from ancient kingdom, and show his battle skill. The Video is edited so people don’t know he failed the quest and the princess died.
k. The job of Adventurer Weed was then debated. First people think he is Paladin when fighting vampires. But he fight undead dragon using Necromancer magic, and good combat ability.
This is the last instance before weed reveal that he is the sculptor
this is as far as volume 15. If I have time maybe I will make later volumes

Are you sure that the general public knows that point? I've only read up to volume 20, but so far I've only seen this mentioned in volume 17 or 18. Towards the end of the volume, Ray Bard's guild mate is talking to him about Weed.
I *think* the guild mate says something about how Weed is famous because of what he did in the Continent of Magick. Then he goes on to say that they (Ray Bard's guild) could be considered Weed's seniors because they were the best players/guild in Continent of Magick before they quit and Weed started playing it. Ray Bard says to ignore what Weed is doing, but once he's alone he starts having a flashback.
The flashback is just after Weed started getting famous for soloing entire dungeons in Continent of Magick. Ray Bard was feeling curious about Weed and decided to log back onto CoM in order to check him out. So he finally finds Weed clearing out a dungeon on his own and then launches a sneak attack! But Weed managed to dodge/block and they fought a duel in which Weed barely won. Over the next couple weeks, Ray Bard continued to attack Weed another 6 times, but Weed beat him more easily each time.
And this is why Ray Bard secretly holds a grudge against Weed.

Totally agreed with fg109. I finished v22, and people don't know about them and Weed relationship. Well, they do learn that Sculptor Weed and Adventure Weed are the one and the same... though they debate about it since Weed has some weird personality for the "Battle God"
BTW, an addition to public view of Weed from "The Continent of Magic". People's different reaction to Weed:
Case 1) Some want to revenge him because he killed them.
Case 2) Some want to kill him (in Royal Road) for fame because he's famous and strong.
Case 3) Some admire him even after he killed them just cause he was so cool and strong.
Case 4) Some just try to avoid meeting Weed. (in fear of getting killed by him)
Case 5) Some never met Weed and only hear of the rumors suggested above (and admire him for that)
The view of people who hate Weed:
- Weed has bad temper
- Weed kills people without much reason (being in line to buy an item for too long, being a lovy-dovy couple, having a name that offends Weed, following him into a dungeon to watch him fight, etc.)
- Weed is scarier than a dragon
Ah, also people think the money-obsessed Weed shown through interview in a show was just a concept to make people amused, not the true Weed.
Well, their opinion about Weed usually gets stumped by Weed followers though even if they are all true...

Having read upto vol 31 (eagerly waiting for 32)
I predict that Weed and BardRay will join forces against the Embinyu Sect and in the process BardRay will succumb to Weed paving the way for Weed to be the new emperor of the Great Continent.
There's some foreshadowing in the dream BardRay has in vol 31 where he loses everything to Weed and is ready to surrender but Weed is unwilling to let him off due to greed for all the precious items
Bardray will drop at his death LOL
And regarding the above discussion, Bardray is the only one who has personal grudge against Weed, the others of his guild sees Weed as only a competitor for the Master Quest atm. The other guild
members' only only objective seems to be conquering the continent, in which Weed is not a contender, Otherwise they'd have wiped Weed's Morata/Arpen Kingdom out while it was still weak.
And for those who've read upto 31, any prediction as to what Weed's newly to be created Master's Secret Skill will be, and what the Final Secret Skill will be??

The easiest way to win is to find out Weed's real-life identity and where he lives. Then during a critical duel, shut power to the apartment at the power meter for a few seconds. The power-hungry capsule will run out of power and Weed will freeze in the game because the game only allows instant logout at certain locations. Otherwise, the game freezes the char for a few minutes before removing it from the playing field. While frozen, Weed can then be killed and the item that drops can be looted. Another approach is to find the broadband line and install a radio-controlled wireless switch. They are pretty cheap. During a duel or important monster army fight, the connection can be toggled for a few seconds and Weed's char will freeze for a few minutes.... Repeat as needed for significant events.

That would be an extremely cheap shot. Why not hack his account? Or do something that will force the admins to ban him? Or simply steal his game capsule? And while we're at it, why not kidnap his sister or threaten his grandma?
Besides, I'm pretty sure the capsules are proofed against things like that. I mean, imagine Weeds capsule is cut of from any source of electricity and his consciuosness doesnt return to his body. 24-hours-Powergaming!!!
You just need one extremely good player (who plays at least as much as Weed does) or a small army. Ans as long as weed is the hero its kinda obviuos that he'll be hard to kill...

The goal is to win, not to play ethically. Ethics are an invention by the weak to keep the strong down and make them less competitive. Weed plays without ethics. If he played like that in any of the major MMORPG out in this real world, he would have been banned a long time ago.

Why would they ban him? Did he break any rules? Did he do ANYTHING that other users don't do?
We have to keep in mind this is just a novel, not reality (there it is: the old "beat the discussion over the head"-Argument").
Most of Royal Roads player play because they want to have fun. Weed plays because his life depends on it. ;D

is weed going to create is own guild i am in volume 13 and i read some spoilers that he join a guild so i want to know will he create a guild and be the master? because from what i know till volume 13 he the ruler of morata and he very strong so why join a guild if he can open one alone?
