Overtooning isn't working

Hi! When I was using the Overtooning bookmark to translate yesterday, it was working fine. When I tried again today, it stopped working, where it would only translate the text at the top, but not on the actual webtoon. Is there a reason for this? Thanks!

If you have a problem please access http://otoon-api.bumblebits.net/overtooning.js and hit the refresh button of your browser (do not download the file, it's useless).

Then it should work.

I have the same problem. It's worked on a couple of the newer chapters, but otherwise it hasn't been translating the majority of the chapters I've tried. I did everything that was suggested (going to the link above and refreshing) but overtooning still isn't working for me.

When you use the bookmark, there should be an icon appearing next to the Naver icon in the top left of the website. It's the overtooning icon. If you click on it, you should have access to the logs. Please copy paste them here.

Just edit a little bit the links so they don't look like links (remove the whole "http://otoon-api.bumblebits.net/"), and try to post the logs again.

I don't understand how we change the logs in the overtooning icon b/c it doesn't seem to let me edit? and I'm confused on what to copy and paste.

When you click on the overtooning icon, it gives you logs.

Logs is some information about what's happening when you run our script.

I want this information, so you must be able to communicate it to me.

You copy the logs, and you paste them here on this very forum, so I can read them.

Since apparently the forum is not letting you post links, and that there are links in the logs, you have a problem and you can't post here the logs as they are.

Hence, while you are posting them here, edit the links so they don't look like link, and hit the "post" button hoping that this forum doesn't detect any link.

You can also post them somewhere else, and tell me where it is.

We haven't translated that chapter yet, so if it doesn't work it's normal.


What about other chapters?

I'v tried doing all this stuff and it's still not working. When ever I try season 3 chapt 60 it sends me to season 1 chapt 1. What do I Do.

I remember reading up to s3 ch73 last time but now when I use overtooning on any of the chapters it only translates the summary bit near the top and not the actual images, this happening to anyone else?

Yeah it's the Naver remote control that was changed once again. I'm fixing it.

Once I'll have it fixed, you will probably need to access http://otoon-api.bumblebits.net/overtooning.js and refresh (F5 usually).

S2C7 of Pink Lady hasn't been translated yet (it's been a very very long time we didn't release any chapter of Pink Lady, we should get people to work on it).

That's why it doesn't work.

I have a similar problem. The new bookmark worked fine on chrome on my nexus 7, but it doesn't work on my Samsung galaxy s6. When I enter the new bookmark on Naver, it opens the list of chapters of the 3 seasons, but whenever I open a chapter, it shows the very 1st chapter and the bookmark doesnt work, it neither shows the right chapter nor translates it.
And this is the log:

If that's all there is in the logs (nothing else?), then perhaps there is a weird bug. Could you try going in the options (config tab, not the log tab), and push on the last button of the config "apply" next to the "reset" option?
Then tell me if anything changes.

You know what! It worked fine! I didn't even do anything, I just did what I've been doing the past 3 days and it just worked this time! Anyway thank you so much for your help, and sorry for the trouble.

How come the newer chapters are really big? I have to minimize my page down to 33% for the scans to fit my screen again

Are you viewing the mobile website of Naver, or the desktop one? (the mobile has an "m" at the beginning of its URL: m.comic.naver.com).
