Yes,

use the bookmark on the chapter list (so there's no images that load).
Click on the overtooning button that appears, and go to settings.

In settings, set the Memory limit to 5 and push the the "apply" button.
If it continues crashing, diminish the value to 4, then 3 etc... (it's unlikely it will keep crashing until 1).

I installed Greasemonkey, but I don't know what to do next.  All my blockers are off, and nothing shows up when I go to the Naver site.  Is there a step I'm missing?  I couldn't find any straightforward step-by-step instructions anywhere.

I am trying the extension in Firefox 47.0a2 and I'm getting this in the add-on console

Do not use the extension, it's the old one. Currently only the bookmark is regularly updated.

First, thank you for all your work on the overtoon method, I am very happy that the scanlation community has created a way to support the author while enjoying their content.

Onto the problem: I am trying to read 'Kubera', this is not translated by Odd Squad, but the translators (Babo Kim Scanlations) use Odd Squad's overtooning software. Everything worked fine till earlier today when the translations stopped loading. They still load for Odd Squad translated works such as CitT so I don't know if you will be able to help at all or whether it is an external error. Thanks!

everything should work as of now, the Kubera team contacted me about this problem. Their server simply had problems, and they quickly fixed it once they have been made aware.

You can see it in the logs you gave me: the very last line says: "[overtooning.canvas] Error while loading overlay 1"
The overlays are the images the Kubera team is making and distributing. The overtooning thing could not load them.

Hi! New user to overtoon and I'd read through (probably) all the trouble shooting methods but can't seem to get this fixed.

Please access this http://otoon-api.bumblebits.net/overtooning.js and use the refresh button of your browser.
Then try again.
I changed this file but your browser seem to not be refreshing it and using the cache (it's normal, and it would have refreshed it at some point, but you want to refresh it now ^^).

This line right before the loading

Should disappear and it should work again.

I'm using the overtooning bookmark on Chrome version 53.0.2785.116 m

It is sort of working in the sense that the relevant chapter shows up when I use the bookmarklet, but part of the chapter shows up translated. It looks like it's still trying to pull the overlays from Google Drive (even though the most recent post said they were uploaded elsewhere a few weeks ago?), and the translated parts are for pages that can still be accessed.

Yes all overlays have been uploaded elsewhere a week ago, but I was waiting for google to go down (it hadn't at the time they said they would remove their service) before quitting them.

I'm checking if something is wrong, could you tell me which chapter that is?


edit: I can confirm that only some overlays are working, and not all of them. I suppose google is shutting down gradually. I'm activating the other server.
